LPZ

A 2 track 2-step single (10m 14s) — released October 31st 2011 on Keep Up!

Keep Up! Records moves into double figures with a new direction. Under a new guise of LPZ, Lopez - Paraguay's biggest export - have taken on an alter-ego and produced something more upbeat to tackle the modern upbeat dancefloor sound of London. Building on the recent remix project for Morten Sorensen on Tirk and working to a 140bpm tempo, LPZ use vintage analogue equipment and extensive vocal hooks to build a more urgent sound. This comes packaged with a remix from label mates AvA© Blaste and Tom Central working together. The tempo is slower and the mood more mellow but this time the direction is influenced by classic two step Garage. Not wishing to stand still, this is showcases the versatility of the label and if you catch Keep Up! artists live you'll see how it all makes sense.
